Air Charter Service expanding in Germany and Austria

New office in Frankfurt am Main as a result of a significant rise in turnover in the calendar year of 2015

Air Charter Service (ACS), a globally leading provider of charter flights for passengers and cargo, continues on its course of expansion in Germany and Austria. As a result of a significant rise in turnover and increased number of staff, the company has moved into a new office in Frankfurt am Main. “We are approaching the end of a year, during which we set some records again. Total turnover 2015 is about 50 per cent above last-year’s level at the moment. To meet the requirements of our growing customer base, we doubled the size of our staff since early January“, says Caroline Werf, Managing Director ACS Germany. “The move to new premises, which also doubles our office space, was only a logical result – as we intend to continue on our path of growth.“ The charter market in Germany and Austria plays a key role for the group. “From the Rhine-Main-region we can reach a great number of our customers personally on a short way – the location in Frankfurt is a perfect fit to our expansion strategy. Also local enterprises will profit from the central location of the new office, in the heart of the city,“ says Caroline Werf.

In addition to the expanding divisions of passenger and cargo charter, the new office in Frankfurt am Main will also accommodate the global on-board-courier service of Air Charter Service, which the company has also expanded successfully this year. The growth targets were surpassed by far. Air Charter Service (ACS) was established in 1990 in the UK and counts among the globally leading providers of charter flights for passengers and cargo. In 2014 the global enterprise based in London organised more than 9,000 charter flights and generated turnover of more than USD 450 million. In total they moved 327,299 passengers and 36,975 tonnes of freight.
