Airbus Defence and Space selects Kuehne + Nagel as exclusive contract logistics provider in Poland

The new four-year contract strengthens Kuehne + Nagel’s global partnership with the Airbus Group and marks a further strategic step into the Polish aerospace and aviation logistics market.

In the scope of the contract Kuehne + Nagel manages a warehouse, storing components and spare parts for manufacturing aircrafts. The services provided at the Warsaw site include picking & packing, quality inspections, management of inbound flows from suppliers, order preparation and delivery of parts to the Airbus’ manufacturing. In order to monitor the entire logistics processes during the production Kuehne + Nagel utilises its IT System “MyLogSupply”. In addition, value-added services are provided and include cutting to size and handling of parts for aircrafts like the training turboprop ORLIK.
