Quadriga selects global logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel

London, June 18, 2009 – Global logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel has been selected by Quadriga, the leading provider of Internet and entertainment services for the hotel industry across Europe and the Middle East, to manage its supply chain including logistics and distribution of all materials out to hotel customers.

As partner to the world’s leading hotel chains, Quadriga plays a pivotal role in ensuring guest satisfaction. To meet the needs of its hotel customers, Quadriga required a logistics provider with the necessary scale and experience to help deliver optimum levels of customer service and meet stringent delivery commitments across Europe and the Middle East.

Following the successful completion of an implementation phase, Kuehne + Nagel has supported Quadriga through its established Hotel Logistics service offering, drawing on the company’s extensive experience working with luxury hotel operators, procurement companies and amenity distributors, among other exclusive suppliers to the hospitality market.

Kuehne + Nagel is working on behalf of Quadriga to deliver improvements to stock control and the overall customer fulfilment process. Goods are collected from Quadriga’s suppliers in the UK and Europe and consolidated at one of Kuehne + Nagel’s major distribution centres. Materials are stored here as required, ensuring a lean approach to inventory, and quickly turned around to meet customer orders with a unique parts list for each individual hotel. Outbound distribution to Quadriga’s customers is arranged via road, utilising Kuehne + Nagel’s European groupage network.
