New business win for Kuehne + Nagel with Premium Aircraft Interiors Group
| London, November 30, 2009 – Premium Aircraft Interiors Group, a globally integrated group of companies that delivers support for the life-cycle of all cabin interior products and services, has selected Kuehne + Nagel as a global logistics partner. Further to a review of its current business model, the aftermarket business of Premium Aircraft Interiors Group has decided to outsource its airfreight, roadfreight (both domestic and international) and seafreight logistics operations to Kuehne + Nagel to meet the crucial costconscious demands of the market. Premium Aircraft Interiors Group will be utilising Kuehne + Nagel’s integrated range of logistics services specifically created for the aerospace and aviation industry to deliver a premium physical logistics model to its international customers. With the aim of achieving greater control and visibility of its supply chain, Premium Aircraft Interiors Group will benefit from Kuehne + Nagel’s award-winning logistics information system KN Login. KN Login is a high-speed, web-based platform that delivers real-time supply chain visibility and reporting solutions. Kuehne + Nagel will also undertake process improvements and operations reviews for Premium Aircraft Interiors Group to create a more efficient supply chain.
