Asfinag wants to boost the use of ‘GO Direkt’

‘GO Direkt’ by Asfinag offers the mobility industry flexible forms of payment and more benefits to pay truck toll in Austria

These days Asfinag is launching a new initiative to boost the payment form ‘GO Direkt’. “The share of users is growing continuously – and the service is now available for customers from 40 countries“, says Patrick Riawan, head of the team, aiming to continue this success.

The ‘GO Direkt’ service was introduced in 2007 as a modern form to pay the toll charge for trucks of more than 3.5 tonnes. The service can adjust to customer requirements and offers advantages such as flexible payment, freely selectable billing period, reimbursement of annual toll and time saving through fewer visits to the points of distributon.

To continue this success in 2014 ‘GO Maut’ consultants will visit Austrian companies and shippers/forwarders to discuss the needs of the customers and to consider them even more in future. The ‘GO – Box‘ can be ordered centrally – the necessary proof of emission class for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes is automatically included.

The billing is oriented to the customers’ requirements: Pre-Pay allows the charging of a toll credit, post-pay calculates the toll afterwards. The user can choose between monthly, every two weeks or weekly payment. „We do not charge any service fees – the customer will also receive a refund of the total annual toll fee in the amount of 0.3 per cent,“ said Patrick Riawan.

The SelfCare portal enables ‘GO Direct’-customers to manage their respective fleet independently – they receive the latest information about service and sales via the ASFINAG app ‘Move’.
