Atherton promoted at Cartwright

Cartwright Group has appointed Barry Atherton, who first joined Cartwright as a coach builder 24 years ago, as director of operations of its manufacturing facility.

Mark Cartwright, managing director, said: “We are delighted to appoint Barry to this key new position.

“The appointment will give him every chance to build on the invaluable contribution he has already made to our company and to play a vital role in our continued success.”

In the new position Atherton will continue much if the role he previously covered as general manager with total responsibility for the shop floor, but he will now also be responsible for ensuring the company’s consistently high standards of quality, efficiency and service within its manufacturing operation are maintained and its operations policy and procedures are adhered to.
