Austria: New toll regulation – reduced tariffs for Euro 6 trucks
Effective 1 January 2015: 350th regulation of the Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology to impose toll tariffs (2014 toll regulation)
On 15 December the regulation of the Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology to impose toll tariffs (2014 toll regulation) was published in the Federal Law Gazette. As announced by Alois Stöger on 28 November 2014, the basic tariff per kilometre for Euro VI-vehicles will be reduced from currently 16.2 Cent (2014) to 15.6 Cent (effecive 1 January 2015).
The basic tariff per kilometre for other Euro-emission classes will be increased by 1.6 per cent, as proposed in the draft (valorisation of the tariff). The toll surcharge on the A 12 motorway between the national border near Kufstein and the Innsbruck/Amras-junction (A 13) will be increased to 20 per cent. The regulation will become effective from 1 January 2015.
