BIFA names policy officer for customs

The British International Freight Association has chosen Pawel Jarza to become policy and compliance officer for customs issues.

Jarza has worked in the industry for 12 years, beginning his career at Yamato Transport Europe. He subsequently worked with Arcadia and Landmark Global UK.

“We welcome Pawel and are sure that his experience in the Customs environment will help our Policy & Compliance Department to fulfil its role of providing effective representation and support for BIFA members within the broader context of the UK and international freight services industry,” said Robert Keen, BIFA director general.
