Cargo Center Graz: Change at the management board

Mag. Christian Steindl and KommR Franz Glanz form the management board of Cargo Center Graz Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H.&CoKG

A personnel change has taken effect in the management board of Cargo Center Graz Betriebsgesellschaft m.b.H.&CoKG (CCG), based in Werndorf near Graz. Since recently Mag. Christian Steindl and KommR Franz Glanz form the top of the management board of the transport and infrastructure enterprise. The former head of the Ennshafen port is now in charge of the segments logistics, marketing and sales. Franz Glanz is in charge of commercial and technical agendas. DI Peter Pittino has moved to the top of the CCG Nord Projektentwicklung company.

The Cargo Center Graz sees itself as the most modern cargo transport centre south of the Alps. Its core is the container terminal for efficient multimodal transports, operated by the Steiermärkische Landesbahnen (STLB) railway company. The major logistics enterprises are customers of the CCG on more than 120,000m² halls and office space. Moreover the branch provides all kinds of services and facility services. Via a neutral logistics platform CCG organises also daily combined transportations to Koper, Neuss and to the northern ports (Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Antwerp).

Since its opening in 2003 the CCG, with more than 1,000 persons employed by the companies there, has become a significant economic factor for this region. From 2003 to 2013 they invested more than EUR 200 million.
