Cartwrights launch Tiger Trailers
John and Steven Cartwright, the former joint managing directors of Cartwright Trailers, have launched their own company, Tiger Trailers, to offer a range of products from rigid bodywork to double deck LST trailers.
The two left Cartwright last month following a disagreement within the family. Mark Cartwright has now taken over as managing director of the Cartwright business, which is based in Altrincham, while Peter Cartwright is company chairman and Lisa Cartwright is a director.
Tiger is based at Winsford where manufacturing and assembly is housed under one roof.
Sales director Darren Holland said: „Our first confirmed orders will be delivered during September and we welcome all customers old and new to come and visit us either at the factory or at the CV Show.”
Steven Cartwright, joint managing director, said: „The decision by John and I to leave our positions in the Cartwright family business was driven by our desire to lead the company 100 per cent and to make significant changes for its future success.
“Unfortunately an agreement was not reached and therefore the decision to leave and create Tiger came about.”
