Ceva Logistics striving to expand its market share in Austria

Ceva Freight Austria GmbH sees air and sea freight forwarders with pronounced customer relationships at an advantage. Andreas Braun, CEO Ceva Freight Austria and Vice President Eastern & Central Europe Ceva Freight therefore relies on personal service by specialised employees. This is the way how the objective for 2016 – to increase the market share on the basis of organic growth – shall be reached in the region of Eastern & Central Europe.

Ceva Freight has also great expectations for leveraging synergies through interlinking international forwarding and contract logistics operations. This shall apply along the entire logistics chain, from raw materials and production to transport and distribution logistics.

Having handled 800,000 TEU (FCL) and 400,000 cubic meters (LCL) in ocean freight, and 400,000 tonnes of airfreight in 2015, Ceva Logistics is at a distance from the great players in the industry. The company still moves a faily large machine in contract logistics, with 41,000 employees in 160 countries, managing 8 million m² of warehouse space at 650 locations.
