DHL Paket Austria: 700 new parcel shops with Billa supermarkets
DHL Paket Austria, the B2C parcel logistics specialist is expanding its network through a cooperation with Billa, a food supermarket chain. Customers from both companies now have the opportunity to easily pick up or send their parcels during their daily shopping in one of the 700 Billa stores.
“In today’s fast-paced world, people need services and solutions that make life easier,” explains Günter Birnstingl, Managing Director DHL Paket Austria. “The cooperation between Billa and DHL enables our customers to combine their daily shopping and parcel pick up or sending stress-free, without having to integrate extra ways into their dayly routine.”
According to a DHL study, 97 percent of all Austrians use the services of parcel companies, with more than 50 percent of them sending or receiving parcels at least once per month. An extensive infrastructure network with customer-oriented locations and attractive opening hours is the basis for this.
Cooperating with Billa forms the basis for the further expansion of DHL’s market position in Austria. The company is continuing to expand both services and infrastructure in response to the increasing volume of parcels.
