DX hub proposal rejected by council

South Staffordshire Council has turned down proposals by DX Group for a new central hub at Essington, which sits at the junction of the M6 and M54 motorways north east of Wolverhampton.

The company had already had an application turned down in May last year, but submitted a revised application. However, the council has now turned this down.

In a statement, DX said: “The Company is now considering its options, including the development of an alternative site, in consultation with its stakeholders.”
