Europa launches second stage of IT system

Europa Worldwide has launched the next stage of its new IT system. The second stage is “LeoCab”, which extends to the drivers of Europa’s fleet.

Overall, the company has invested over £2 million in its IT system “Leonardo”. It enables the business to have in-house control over all of its systems across 11 UK sites.

The technology, which cost £100,000, is replacing the previous standalone in-cab solution with new collection and delivery information.

IT director at Europa Richard Litchfield said:

“LeoCab is the next stage in this exciting process, bringing the system into the cab. It will offer enhanced visibility of shipments and tracking thereof for driver, branch and sales respectively. Previously we relied on the driver communicating information – especially delays – by phone, but now LeoCab will take on this role in real time.”
