Goldstar invests £1.2m in handling fleet

Container haulier Goldstar Transport has acquired mixed materials handling fleet in a £1.2 million deal with Cooper Handling.

The new equipment includes: a Maximal MA20D forklift, a Maximal M50D container de-stuffer, a Sany 16- 1200 HD forklift with a 6.5 metre mast for 20-foot container, two Sany 45-31 G laden reach stackers and a 108 SMV un-laden reach stacker.

“We’ve been impressed by the was Cooper listened and came up with the right material handing solutions and maintenance package for us,” said Derek Daly, general manager, fleet at Goldstar Transport. “At the same time the new fleet is proving popular with operators and, most importantly, we expect the fleet to deliver significant productivity benefits and cost savings in the years ahead.
