Hellmann to serve 79 countries for Verbatim as of now
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics inaugurate Verbatim warehouse in Osnabrück; about 4,000 orders handling volume per month
Verbatim GmbH, a 100%ige subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemicals Holding Group, has decided to cooperate with logistics provider Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in the segment of contract and transport services at their location in Osnabrück. Verbatim has a pioneering role in the data storage technology. As a leading provider in the distribution of external storage media, accessories, LED and printing technology, Verbatim will control the central supply of EUMEA countries from Osnabrück.
From the new warehouse in Osnabrück they will supply 79 countries in Europe, the Near East and Africa with products. With about 800 items on storage they will handle about 4,000 pallets and 13,500 parcels monthly – in 4,000 orders. Express orders coming in before 2 pm, are shipped on the same day, all other orders are processed and delivered within 24 or 48 hours, depending on destination. About 30 Hellmann employees will be working at the location in Osnabrück for order picking and shipment of the Verbatim products.
The new warehouse in Osnabrück will also take over the distribution of Cleansui brand products – Japan’s leading manufacturer of water filters for drinking water treatment. Cleansui has been active in the European market for two years.
