New logistics facility for the wine industry in Parndorf

Wein-Logistik GmbH enters a new era through opening a modern logistics terminal in Parndorf, Burgenland
 
As of now Wein-Logistik GmbH based in Parndorf, Burgenland, is providing its customers with enlarged storage capacity for domestic wines and from abroad. On April 26 Andreas Leithner, the owner and manager of the company, inaugurated the new logistics facility and wine shop in the presence of the major of the governor of Burgenland Franz Niessl. Built with an investment of EUR 2.5 million, the facility has 4,500 m² covered area and offers capacity for temperature-controlled storage of 6,500 pallets, as well as three docking stations for loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
 
The company named Die Wein-Logistik GmbH“ was founded in 2002 as a private enterprise specialising on transport and logistics services for customers from the wine industry. The staff of 9 provides support to customers in the segments of imports/exports, warehousing/distribution, documentation and customs service. Serving 90 wine-growing customers for storage, and 500 domestic and abroad customers for transport, they achieved turnover of about EUR 2 million.
