KGH Customs acquires Oy Atlas Spedition ja Huolinta AB

Company take over in Finland is part of KGH’s strategy to develop a full-fledged pan European customs company with outstanding service

KGH Customs Services has acquired Oy Atlas Spedition ja Huolinta AB (‘Atlas’) in Finland, thus strengthening its position as Europe’s leading and fastest growing independent partner for customs compliance. Atlas was founded in 1997 in Tornio and is today one of the leading customs companies in the northern parts of Scandinavia. After the acquisition, KGH will have 650 employees in 11 countries.

The acquisition of Atlas follows KGH’s recent expansion in France, Italy and the Czech Republic. It is a part of the long-term strategy to develop a full-fledged pan-European customs company, capable of offering comprehensive customs services in all major European countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Czech Republic).
