K+N opens new European hub

Kuehne + Nagel has opened a new European hub for its oil and gas network in Aberdeen.

K+N wins contract with Assa Abloy UKThe new site is 118,400 sq ft and is located close to both Aberdeen Airport and the city’s harbour.

The hub will provide international freight forwarding and integrated supply chain solution services to the oil and gas industry as well as core seafreight, airfreight and overland solutions.

“Complex logistics tasks for the Oil & Gas industry demand precisely tailored

solutions,” said Marcus Bennett, national manager of K+N, UK. “Here our new Aberdeen branch has a crucial role to play.

“Our customers will benefit from enhanced services, as we strengthen our global Oil & Gas network with a dedicated European Hub.”
