Lagermax-Group: MARPOL-surcharge and new address

Lagermax Ocean freight charges a MARPOL-surcharge from 1 January 2015; Lagermax Car transport has a new address in Straßwalchen

As of 1 January 2015 Lagermax Internationale Spedition GmbH introduces a separate MARPOL-surcharge on routes from/to Ireland, the UK, Finland, Sweden and Norway in order to cover additional costs of ship fuel. Further information is available with Mr. Raimund Neumayer and Franz Schnöll.

As of 1 January 2015 the European Union introduces the MARPOL-convention and hence more stringent environmental protection regulations for the shipping industry in the Baltic and the North Sea as well as the English Channel. Shipping lines will have to use ship fuel with no more than 0.1 per cent sulphur content. This environmentally friendlier fuel costs about 40 to 50 per cent more than the previously used fuel.

What will also change from 1 January 2015 is the address of Lagermax Autotransport GmbH, namely Lagermax Straße 1 in A-5204 Straßwalchen. All the other data of account managers, e-mail addresses and telephone or fax numbers will remain the same.
