Lagermax Group moves with the times for 95 years

Owner-managed family enterprise from Salzburg occupies a strong position in the transport and logistics markets of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe

This week the Lagermax Group is celebrating its 95-years jubilee. The company headquartered in Salzburg was founded on 28 April 1920 as Lagerhaus Salzburg-Maxlan Ges.m.b.H and was soon short-named Lagermax, from the German word for warehouse “Lagerhaus”, and the first three letters of Maxglan.

In 2015 the owner-managed family enterprise operates as a specialist service provider for the business segments of forwarding and transport logistics in all its facets, automotive logistics, express and parcel services (DPD Austria, primetime, AED) and industry solutions for automotive, vehicle trade, fashion & textiles, chemicals, consumer goods, electronics and merchandising companies.

The extensive network of 54 locations in 12 countries of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe is completed by longstanding partner/system networks throughout Europe and overseas. From currently 3,004 employees, about 1,250 are working in Austria. 2014 annual turnover amounted to EUR 395 million.
