Logistics expertise for 2015 Life Ball provided by DB Schenker

Vienna branch of DB Schenker supports Europe’s biggest charity event fighting against HIV/AIDS for the eight time this year
According to this year’s motto “Gold – Ver Sacrum” the 23rd Life Ball to celebrate life will give a strong and loud sign in the fight against HIV/AIDS. As official logistics partner DB Schenker supports the organisers of the Life Ball, Europe’s biggest charity event taking place in the Vienna City Hall, for the eight time.

Inspired by this year’s motto, the official DB Schenker 2015 Life Ball truck was decorated with the ”Pan and Flora“-motive. This year’s source of inspiration are the Viennese Secessionists – above all Gustav Klimt, and the ancient Roman spring festival “Ver Sacrum”. Also the DB SCHENKERsecurity-container with a golden flowery motive can be seen at the Vienna Rathausplatz. The container serves as a point for accreditation of guests during the setup works and during the event.

DB Schenker experts of the Vienna office have been making logistic preparations for Europe’s biggest charity event for several weeks. The focus of the partnership between DB Schenker and the organisers of the Life Ball is the passion for smooth handling of this international event and the efficient management of the numerous transports.
