Lothar Thoma appointed as CEO of Militzer & Münch
The increasingly necessary restructuring of global supply chains offer high growth potential for the provider of transport logistic solutions
Militzer & Münch has appointed Dr. Lothar Thoma to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Starting 1st January 2016 at the latest, he will be responsible for the entire business of M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG with its 25 country units. He succeeds Alexei Kovalenko, who is acting as the interim CEO in addition to his function as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Militzer & Münch; he will remain CFO after Dr. Lothar Thoma has taken office.

Dr. Lothar Thoma comes with almost 20 years of experience in the logistics sector. In his last position, he was sole Managing Director of Prosegur GmbH, the German representation of Prosegur, an international service provider in the field of security logistics. He started his professional career in 1996 with Schenker, where he held, among others, the position of Branch Manager of the then Schenker-BTL AG in Stuttgart. After that, he was the Frankfurt Branch Manager for Dachser for several years, followed by over four years with Kühne + Nagel in various management positions – among others as Head of Business Field Road Transportation and also as COO Rail + Road Logistics South-East Europe.
