Loxx Group bundles its forwarding business in Gelsenkirchen

As of July 1, 2017, the Loxx Group’s forwarding operations in Gelsenkirchen will be joined into one company, as decided by the shareholders of Loxx Holding GmbH. The two wholly-owned subsidiaries of Loxx Holding GmbH, Loxx Logistics GmbH (core business in Eastern Europe and Central Asia) and Loxx Logistik & Spedition GmbH (focus on national transport and Western Europe) will be merged and continue oepration as Loxx Logistics GmbH.

The Management Board of Loxx Logistics GmbH will remain the same as before, fomred by Alexander Brock and Ulrich Schröder. All claims and liabilities of Loxx Logistik & Spedition GmbH will be transferred to Loxx Logistics GmbH. The contact persons and contact data will largely remain the same.

Through this move Loxx offers a one-stop service in Gelsenkirchen for all routes, for which has often been demanded by the customers. In addition, the merger will provide the company with even better opportunities for the future. The subsidiary Loxx Lagerlogistik GmbH (logistics services, fulfillment), which is also run by Loxx Holding GmbH at the site in Gelsenkirchen, remains unaffected by the merger.

The Loxx Group is an owner-managed medium-sized company with operating companies at its locations in Gelsenkirchen (headquarters), Tamm near Stuttgart, Warsaw, Poznań, Katowice and Moscow. Its 540 employees (including 345 employees in Gelsenkirchen) have almost 40 years of experience in forwarding and logistics business with the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. In 2016, they generated a consolidated turnover of EUR 119.6 million.
