| Family enterprise Troy Transport operates in Austria, Germany and Switzerland The owner family of Troy Transport GmbH & Co KG is looking back on 60 years of activities in the cargo transport industry. Under the motto „Wir fahren Mode“ (“We drive fashion”) the Austrian enterprise based in the municipality of Hard, in Vorarlberg, offers a broad range of transport services to Vorarlberg’s textile industry. Their fleet includes jumbo trailer trucks with 112 cbm cargo capacity and mega trailer-Tautliners with an inside height of 3 metres. Every vehicle is equipped with a positioning system. The special care of the cargo hold allows transportation of unpackaged substances, the management states. The Troy company was established by Mr. Josef Troy in 1950 as a wood trading and transport service company. By the mid-1960s they specialised in textile transportations in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. In addition to these activities Troy Transport today offers solutions to transport technical textiles for the automotive industry and for general cargo within Austria.
