The Bord of Directors at Gebrüder Weiss has a new member. Since recently the longstanding employee Werner Hagen is in charge of the areas Finance and Accounting, Corporate Controlling as well as payroll accounting for the group. ”It is a great honour to be appointed Director in a successful company such as Gebrüder Weiss. Ongoing economic changes and the group’s continuous growth present always new challenges I have to face with my team. Under these circumstances, my area of responsibility will be exciting, although not without tension in the coming years. I am looking forward to continue to contribute to the Gebrüder Weiss group’s success in the future,” Hagen comments about climbing up the next step of his career ladder.

Born in Bregenz, Werner Hagen (56) started his career at Gebrüder Weiss in 1971 as a financial accountant for the branches in Vorarlberg, Austria. After he changed to Corporate Finance and Accounting and was granted power of attorney in 1986, Hagen has been responsible for the group balance sheet. In 1997, he became head of his department.
