Coca Cola now also customer of DB Schenker in Poland

DB Schenker Logistics assumes transport and warehousing of finished products on behalf of the Coca Cola Company in Poland:

The Coca-Cola Company places two orders for transport and warehousing with the provider of logistics services DB Schenker Logistics in Poland. Originating from Atlanta, the globally leading producer of refreshments integrates its previously own-operated distribution hubs for finished products into existing warehouses of DB Schenker. Schenker’s experience in distribution of beverages was the decisive factor for Coca Cola to outsource one part of its own supply chain to the logistician.

„This logistics solution allows both partners to profit from synergy effects of the existing DB Schenker network,“ says Dariusz Doroś, Manager Contract Logistics with Schenker Sp. z o.o. “This is all about employees and the joint use of resources, such as facilities, warehouse and transport capacities. Moreover we will be able to raise the degree of services for our customers and make a contribution to improve their environmental balance“, Doroś explains the expected synergies.
