Successful LCL cooperation of BTG and IBC forwarding

Directe LCL services of the forwarding companies BTG (Wiener Neudorf) and IBC (Linz) from Southern China to Austria to be expanded:

Directe groupage container services from China to Austria are the core of a cooperation between BTG Spedition, Wiener Neudorf, and IBC Internationale Spedition GmbH, Linz, started three months ago. THey offer weekly departures on Saturdays ex Shanghai and Ningbo – directly to Austria.

"This product was received that well among our customers and BTG's customers, we can already use 40’ and 40’ High Cube Containers. We are preparing our next step. We are planning to launch another direct groupage container ex Southern China in the near future“, says IBC Managing Director Rudolf Kropfreiter to the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung. Before the end of 2012 we want to depart from all over China without "co-loading“ directly to Austria. Thomas Hafner (BTG) and Jürgen Kropfreiter (IBC) will be in charge of the furthe rdevelopment of this product.

IBC's Head Rudolf Kropfreiter emphasises on the advantages of the continuous LCL transportations Verkehre from China to Austria: In addition to shorter transit times, excluded handling functions at receiving stations in European ports reduce damages to 0.
