Migolog GmbH about to expand its warehouse capacity

Migolog GmbH is making a move towards expanding its warehouse capacity. Construction works to expand the logistics facility at the headquarters in Feistritz, Rosental will start shortly. They plan to construct a high-bay warehouse with 2,500 pallet positions on 1,500 m² surface, “thus the total available warehouse logistics area will grow to 8,500 pallet spaces in 2017”, CEO Michal Golebiowski says in an interview with the Austrian logistics magazine LogEastics.

Migolog was established three years ago and operates today in the divisions of freight logistics, warehousing logistics, picking and contract logistics. The company management sees the main benefit in the good access of the headquarters. Its location in the “Bären Industriepark” is like few other locations suited for a freight forwarding company, operating under the slogan “Your logistics partner in southern Austria”. From there, the borders with Slovenia and Italy can be reached within a few minutes of driving.

The focus of Migolog GmbH is on customers who produce continuously, refuse to extend their own warehouse logistics operations and are strongly committed to the north- or southbound transalpine corridor. These include, for example, a large Austrian dairy group whose UHT-milk-production factory in Klagenfurt has become a major customer of Migolog within a short time. This group and many other customers from the domestic market or abroad are the reason why the logistics provider was able to develop into a highly customer-oriented service provider, whose 33 employees generated generated almost EUR 9 million turnover in 2016.
