Potter gets funding for extension in Yorkshire

Potter Logistics has secured funding for a 10 acre extension to its existing 42-acre Melmerby Industrial Estate, a mile from Junction 50 off the M1 motorway in North Yorkshire.

The 183,000 sq ft extension will be known as A1M 50 and has consent for buildings from 6,00 – 130,000 sq ft.

The £900,000 funding from the York, North Yorkshire and East Ridings Local Enterprise Partnership will be used to open up the development by constructing site access roads, demolishing existing buildings and upgrading power and utility supplies.
