Rotterdam Port: F. Zauner now Regional Representative Austria/CEE

Port of Rotterdem consolidates its commitment in Austria and Central Europe; Multilingual assistance for Austria/CEE Desk

In line with its long-term growth strategy and investment policy, the Port of Rotterdam Authority is intensifying its local presence in Austria and the neighbouring countries.

For this purpose a conceptual plan was adopted at the start of this month for Franz Anton Zauner, who had been representing the port since 2004 in Austria. Among other things, this plan contains also his appointment as Regional Representative Austria/CEE.

Franz Anton Zauner is, in addition to Austria, immediately and increasingly also representing the interests of the Port of Rotterdam in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. As of now he is a direct contact for existing and future partners as logisticians, shippers or official agencies in the region. As a consequence of this decision, the Austria/CEE Desk will shortly be upgraded with a multilingual assistant.
