Round table on multimodal transport on July 29 in Vienna

First round table “Ideen Tisch Kombiverkehr“ to discuss innovations for multimodal transport on July 29

From July 29, 2013 a round table on multimodal transport will take place every last Monday of the month in the Economic Chamber at Schwarzbergplatz in Vienna. This discussion was initiated by Prof. Friedrich Macher (Grampetcargo), Dr. Herbert Peherstorfer (CombiNet) and ÖVG member Karl Stehlik. The objective of this round table is to get to know new ideas, requests and ways of thinking of persons who are not from the industry, and possibly implement these ideas. This involves road and rail transport just as well as inland navigation.

The round table wants to show up innovations for unaccompanied multimodal transport and underline convertibility of existing systems with new ways of thinking. Simple technical changes and developments shall contribute to find a wider circle of users of multimodal transport.
