“Our goal is for our customers to be able to achieve sustainable profitability, regardless of assignment type or the conditions in which they work.”

Production of the new trucks is starting immediately at Scania’s plant in Södertälje, near Stockholm. Initially the focus will be on long-haul vehicles, but additional options will be introduced as more Scania plants readjust and additional options emerge.

Development of the new range has taken more than ten years, and Scania is planning for at least 40,000 customers and prospective customers to test drive the new vehicles during the launch period.
