Suttons Group is to invest £17 million in a 200-strong fleet of the new Euro-6C six by two tractor units over the next two years. The new fleet includes vehicles from both Volvo and MAN for the company’s UK road tanker business.

“This latest deal continues Suttons commitment to investing in the latest equipment and technology for both existing and new customers,” said chief executive John Sutton. “Our drivers’ safety and wellbeing is of great importance so all of the trucks have undergone an evaluation by a driver trainer, focusing on areas like seat comfort, cab and bed access, noise and cab design.

“Suttons is committed to ensuring our reputation for fleet reliability, legal compliance and customer service are protected and enhanced and our impact on the environment is reduced through new emission technology.”
