System Alliance Europe Awards: Shower of prizes for Gebrüder Weiss

Groupage cargo network System Alliance Europe combines the competencies of leading medium-sized forwarders for 10 years

The best part of the this year’s shareholder assembly of the System Alliance Europe, celebrating the 10th year of cooperation, was the presentation of the ‘Partner of the Year’ award. This year, Gebrüder Weiss Gesellschaft m.b.H. (Austria) received the desired trophy for the first time.

The Gebrüder Weiss GmbH branch in Esslingen (Germany) can call themselves „Innovator of the Year“. The assessment criteria are based on the consignment quantity of ADR goods and 50 per cent of three quality evaluation criteria, by 50 per cent each. The focus was on the evaluation of the central dangerous goods database.

In the category “Quality”, according to branch sizes, Honold International GmbH & Co. KG in Neu-Ulm (Germany) and Streck Transport AG in Möhlin (Switzerland) were honored. Gebrüder Weiss D.O.O. in Zagreb (Croatia) is the winner in the category “Improvement of the Year”. The criteria were based on the monthly quantity and quality statistics.

System Alliance Europe combines the competencies of leading medium-sized logistic service providers. Customers are offered a European platform for groupage transport through their own regional partner, combining the expertise of 59 partners in 32 countries. Organizational and IT guidelines guarantee high quality standards, transparent processes and reliable handling of shipments. In 2014 they carried 3.73 million shipments or a total of 1.63 million tonnes.
