TFG Transfracht connects with Enns hub in Austria

On April 4, 2016, TFG Transfracht integrated the Container Terminal Enns (CTE) into the AlbatrosExpress network, thus increasing the train frequencies for the connections to Austria from 28 to 32 departures per week. The AlbatrosExpress links the intermodal hub in the port of Enns to the German seaports at least once per day.

At the same time, the specialist in seaport hinterland transport changed its existing Vienna and Linz direct routes to the Enns terminal, which serves as a hub with suitable connections. “We are pleased that we can now offer our customers daily, flexible transport solutions that meet their requirements”, said Oswin Stummvoll, Regional Manager Austria at TFG Transfracht.

The particular selling points of Container Terminal Enns GmbH, a joint venture between Kaindl Invest GmbH (51%) and DB Mobility Logistics AG (49%), are its state-of-the-art and logistically sophisticated rail and transshipment infrastructure.  In addition to standard terminal services, CTE also offers depot and other forwarding services.
