Toy company secures 100,000 sq ft to aid expansion

Toy and games company Grant & Bowman has agreed a three-year lease on a 100,000 sq ft warehouse at the Leeds-Bradford Airport Industrial Estate at Yeadon.

The company will use Unit 9 as additional storage space to further expansion. Grant & Bowman managing director David Bowman, said: “Our 85,000 sq ft warehouse at Bradford, which we use for storing our toys, is now full and so it made perfect sense to lease another large, well-located and well-appointed unit in Yorkshire.”

“We are specialist traders in branded, discounted toys and other household goods, supplying retailers across the UK and Europe, so location was a prime consideration for us. This industrial estate, next door to the airport, was perfect.”

Knight Frank has advised on the letting. Landlord Learmonth Property Investment Company, part of Broadland Properties, was advised by property consultancies Bilfinger GVA and Gent Visick.
