Warburtons opts for Navman Wireless tracking

Warburtons has integrated Navman Wireless‘ GPS vehicle tracking with its Paragon transport routing and scheduling system, saying the move has resulted in enhanced delivery schedules.

Warburtons produces more than two million wrapped loaves, wraps, crumpets, pancakes, and bread rolls, to around 20,000 UK retail outlets every day. It operates 13 bakeries and 13 depots across the country.

The company says the Navman Wireless tracking system successfully provides live data for both monitoring performance and optimising routes.

“When we ran Paragon’s software together with the Navman Wireless system, the process was simple and fully integrated,“ said distribution planning manager at Warburtons, Jim Norton.
