Access Group acquires planning software firm
Access Group has acquired planning software specialist, Production Modelling, as part of its product portfolio expansion.
UK-based Production Modelling develops and sells production planning software, production scheduling software, and simulation software for all business sectors around the world.
The company’s Orchestrate software offers planning and scheduling to manufacturing companies specifically in the UK.
Access Group will now add Orchestrate to its Access SupplyChain solution, in a bid to add functionality to its manufacturing solutions.
„Orchestrate is capable of automatically constructing a plan and understanding the business constraints including people, machines, tools and parts, allowing our customer to better schedule their resources,“ said chief executive officer of Access Group, Chris Bayne.
