Aramex takes Heathrow warehouse

Dubai-based express courier Aramex UK has taken LaSalle Investment Management’s Cargo 777 warehouse in Poyle, Heathrow.

The company took the refurbished 80,782 sq ft facility on a 10-year lease

Othman Aljeda, regional chief executive for Aramex in Europe, North America and Asia; and acting chief operating officer, said: “The facility will definitely help in supporting the rapid growth in demand for our logistics solutions and ensure a seamless and reliable fulfillment services.

“We will equip the building with the latest technologies, for higher capacity, faster sortation process, and reduced transit times. We believe this will allow us to meet the growing customer demand for rapid and more efficient logistics and transportation services.”

Aramex UK have doubled their operations in Poyle in recent years. The site which will provide Aramex with access to the Heathrow Cargo Terminal and Terminal 5.

JLL and Altus were joint agents. Aramex UK was advised by Matthews & Goodman.
