Bathroom specialist takes storage expansion space
Bathroom and tile product specialist Cubico has taken a 55,000 sq ft warehouse at Towngates’ Copperworks2 scheme in Leeds.
It has taken a three-year lease on Unit C, which it will use as additional storage and distribution space in addition to its existing 110,000 sq ft warehouse in Birstall. The acquisition follows a 60% increase in turnover in the last 12 months.
Craig Waddington, founder of Cubico, said: “We’ve reached storage capacity at our current site in Birstall, so we needed to expand our storage capabilities and Towngate has been fantastic in offering us affordable additional storage to help the company continue to grow.”
Unit C forms part of a larger 180,000 sq ft warehouse/distribution property, which is close to the city centre.
