Bleckmann partners with Loverery to improve deliveries

Bleckmann has partnered with children’s retailer Lovevery to provide logistics services to improve delivery times in the UK.

The American retailer chose Bleckmann to eliminate disruptions caused by Brexit trade barriers, after previously processing orders for the UK from their European headquarter distribution centre in the Netherlands.

However, due supply chain issues, the retailer will now ship products directly from Magna Park Lutterworth from Bleckmann’s 548,959ft2 facility.

Bleckmann will receive goods there, sort, store, and deliver according to Lovevery’s needs, next-day delivery seven days a week for the retailer’s customers in the cities, or delivery maximum two days after ordering. Personalisation of orders and a high service level to the end customers are crucial and included in this.

Roderick Morris, Co-founder and President of Lovevery: “Our decision to expand in the UK was a direct response to overwhelming customer demand since the recent launch of our subscription Play Kits. We understand the importance of localising as much as possible, so we continue to evaluate the needs in which we grow.”
