Evri’s Head of ESG to speak at Logistics Manager’s Sustainable

Nancy Hobhouse, Head of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) at Evri, will be speaking at Logistics Manager’s Sustainable Supply Chain Conference in London on 10 May 2023.

She will be discussing whether or not the idea of companies meeting their supply chain sustainability goals by 2050 is realistic. Her presentation will ask what can be introduced to business strategies to meet future objectives, how approaches to the supply chain will change over time, and whether business needs or sustainability targets will take priority in the coming years.

Hobhouse joined Evri in May 2021 from the John Lewis Partnership, where she was Senior Sustainability Manager leading the partnership’s wide climate strategy and John Lewis’ circular economy and raw materials strategy. She was also an elected member of the partnership’s governing authority.

Prior to that, she was responsible for implementing Barclays Bank PLC’s strategy for managing and reporting the bank’s global operational climate strategy and worked in ESG for the Credit Risk teams.

With an MSc from King’s College London in Environmental Monitoring, Modelling, and Management and a degree in Oceanography and Geology from the National Oceanography Centre at Southampton University, she leads the delivery of Evri’s ESG vision to put ethics and sustainability firmly at the heart of the business.

The conference is a one-day face-to-face event which highlights the untapped opportunity of supply chain decarbonisation in international climate action while also covering how having sustainability at the very core of businesses and their strategies can influence the bottom line.

Attendees of the event will have access to at least five hours of CPD-qualifying seminars and invaluable insight from experts in the world of supply chain sustainability.
