Fercam AG from South Tyrol fuels the price spiral in 2011

Price increases in all business segments of the European-wide active transport and logistics group Fercam
In response to continuously rising costs – particularly for fuel – and to keep the high service standard Fercam AG changes its prices. In a press release the management announced the increase of their prices for transport and logistics services of 6 to 12 per cent. The regulation becoming effective from 1 January 2011 comprises all business segments. For some specific relations the adjustments might be higher. Fercam based in Bolzano in South Tyrol supports shippers by their own definition „with highly qualified services in logistics, groupage cargo, part and full load transport as well as air and sea freight“. At 54 locations in Italy (35), Europe (18) and North Africa (1) with 269,000 sq. m. roofed warehousing area 1,375 persons are employed. The fleet consists of 2,200 transport units.
