Firethorn hires Winvic to deliver net zero scheme
Commercial real estate developer Firethorn Trust has appointed Winvic Construction to deliver the 25.5 acre Ascent Logistics Park in Bedfordshire.
With a focus on promoting sustainability, the contract was awarded to Winvic on the basis of its ability to deliver Firethorn’s requirement of a net-zero carbon scheme.
Permission for construction to start at Ascent Logistics Park was granted by Central Bedfordshire Council in January, and work will commence imminently with the first units due to be delivered by Q4 2021.
