Fowler Welch buys 56 Cargobull reefers

Fowler Welch has bought 56 Schmitz Cargobull reefers for its food delivery operation.

The new vehicles will replace older trailers in its 780-strong fleet, and are to be in operation seven days a week, spread across the business’ nine depots.

“Our trailers are used very intensively and travel thousands of miles a year in all weather conditions, so we need them to be as tough as possible for our work,” said Paul Allera, head of fleet.

“That means trailer availability in the fleet is high, so we can provide a high level of customer service and competitive rates.”
