GAC expands services in Norway

The GAC Group has opened a new logistics office at Oslo International Airport in Norway as part of organic growth to offer a wider range of integrated services to its clients.

Located in the Oslo Air Cargo (OAC) building, the new office is well placed to provide a wide range of warehousing, logistics and airfreight solutions.

Gunnar Lundgren, GAC’s regional logistics manager for Europe, says that GAC’s geographical expansion in Norway has been driven by increased business opportunities from existing and new customers, and the company expects to see a continuous positive trend in the Norwegian market, with greater demand for shipping and logistics services – especially from clients involved in oil and gas operations.

With the new Oslo Airport branch, GAC now has twelve branches from Oslo northwards to Spitsbergen in the Arctic Circle.

According to managing director Ahmet Özsoy, the next step will explore further opportunities in the energy sector, as well as for ships spares logistics, together with other GAC offices and partners worldwide.
