Gazeley looks to redevelop Milton Keynes warehouse

Developer investor Gazeley has submitted plans for the redevelopment of a warehouse to provide two new warehouses in Milton Keynes.

Currently the 13.28-acre site known as Willen House is occupied by a single 215,000 sq ft warehouse. The proposal is to demolish the ‘outdated’ warehouse and replace it with two new units totalling 254,859 sq ft.

Unit A will total 116,6489 sq ft with a 105,584 sq ft warehouse and 10,850 sq ft of two storey offices while Unit B totals 138,210 sq ft with  125,078 sq ft warehouse and 12,917 sq ft of offices. Both warehouse will have 15 – 18m eaves height 50m yard and separate gatehouses with 21 HGV spaces. Unit A will have 18 dock and tow level access doors and Unit B 17  dock and two level access doors.

The site to be known as G.Park Milton Keynes is located between Tongwell Street and Willen Lake, and is approximately 1 mile from Junction 14 of the M1, and ten minutes driving distance from Milton Keynes Central Station.
