Geek+ selects Boomi to automate smart logistics platform

Geek+, a manufacturer of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), has chosen Boomi’s AtomSphere Platform to automate its upcoming smart logistics platform.

With customers in the retail, automotive, fashion, and pharmaceutical industries, to name a few, Geek+ plans ‘to expand and generate new revenue streams to lead the company into its next phase of growth’. Part of this is its decision to build its own smart logistics platform – something it hopes Boomi’s tool can help with.

Pennsylvania-based Boomi is a software company specialising in integration-platform-as-a-service (iPaaS). Its Atmosphere Platform will ‘simplify and streamline the integration of all [Geek+] applications and data’.

Yusuke Arima at Geek+ System Development Group said: “We are aiming to co-create a new logistics standard by utilising next-generation robotics technology to solve the increasingly serious labor shortage in Japan and the gap between the growth of e-commerce demand and the growth of physical volume.

“After evaluating various integration platforms, Geek+ chose Boomi’s intelligent, low-code, cloud-native platform for its versatility, development speed, and ease of use.

“The Boomi platform will enable us to connect our operations with our shippers, suppliers, and partners, while mitigating potential real-time supply chain issues.”

Geek+ (Stand i602) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
