GreyOrange teams up with Big Box to bring robotics solutions to UK

Software provider GreyOrange has today announced a new partnership with Big Box, an intralogistics, automation and buildings specialist.

The strategic collaboration leverages Big Box’s extensive customer portfolio to provide automated warehousing solutions to UK businesses. Through GreyOrange’s GreyMatter operating system and Ranger MoveSmart robots, Big Box improves supply chain efficiencies and reduces order-to-delivery times.

Customers now expect a seamless experience when engaging with any business. From fast and accurate delivery times to easy returns, organisations are eager to meet customer fulfilment needs to gain a competitive advantage.

“In online sales and distribution channels, the need to offer services such as same-day-delivery and store pick up means customer fulfilment and delivery needs continue to shift,” commented Iain Gillard, Managing Director and Founder at Big Box. “The sheer volume and mix of orders mean that warehouses are under increasing pressure to deliver the shortest possible timeframes. As a global leader in robotics technology, GreyOrange in partnership with Big Box will provide UK customers with cutting-edge robotics solutions amid a reduced labour pool and growing consumer demands.”

“Big Box has an established footprint in the UK and has supported intralogistics businesses with innovative technology led solutions and warehousing capabilities,” added Nigel Lahiri, Head of Business Development EMEA. “We are delighted to be selected as the partner of choice as we continue our expansion into the UK market and provide businesses with the technology and expertise required to deliver for the modern customer.”
